Recently, at the conclusion of a 3-day fast, the Lord awoke me with these 3 thoughts:

1. I know God CAN Heal Me;
2. I know God WILL Heal Me;
3. I know God HAS Healed Me!

This came from a burden I had for a pentecostal brother who knew God can and under certain circumstances will heal him, but he does not know or believe God HAS healed him!

I also know many Christians who rob themselves with that traditional prayer of unbelief, “IF it be Your will, heal me.”  Of course, that prayer nullifies all the principles of faith as the Word of God is clear it is God’s will to heal and restore ALL who will believe (3 Jn 2, Ps 103:1-5). Therefore, I am putting this outline together for those who are teachable and want to receive, enjoy and give away God’s healing power to others when needed. This is not an exhaustive list of Scriptures, but some on which YOU need to meditate so the Lord can speak to you (Prov 4:20-27). For “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God,” Rom 10:17. [All Scriptures in NKJV unless otherwise noted.]

I.  GOD CAN HEAL ME.

1. Because Jehovah-Rapha is one of God’s covenant names, and it is His nature to heal, “I am the Lord your doctor,” Ex 15:22-26. 
2. Because of His healing nature when we serve Him, He will bless us and take sickness from our midst, Ex 23:25.
3. Because God placed the double judgment of sin and sickness upon Jesus, the Son of Man, for the double curse that came upon man as a result of Adam’s disobedience.
   1. John 3:14,15 - And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.
   2. See Numbers 21:2-9.
4. Because Jesus was God’s sin offering - sickness-bearing Servant:
   1. See Isaiah 52:13-14.
   2. See Isaiah 53:1-12.
5. Because the OT saint’s faith was forward-looking for what the Messiah, the Suffering Servant, would do for them: “By whose stripes you ARE healed” - present tense!  You will see in the NT Jesus allowed the Father to work His will through Him and through the events of the cross Jesus paid the price for us and the resurrection completed it – “By whose stripes you WERE healed!
6. YES! God can heal you if you will believe it and receive it!

II. GOD WILL HEAL ME.

1. God’s WILL is demonstrated throughout the Gospels:
   1. See Matthew 4:23-25 (also see 9:35-36 in His training His disciples):
   2. That’s how He drew the crowds so He could teach, preach and demonstrate the power of God’s Kingdom over Satan’s.
   3. In Matthew 8 and 9: After teaching the Sermon on the Mount, He began to demonstrate the WILL OF GOD and the power of God’s Kingdom in action, example and training.
      1. Healing of the leper, Matt 8:1-4, If You are willing...I am willing…
      2. Healing of the centurion’s servant, Matt 8: 5-13
      3. Healing of Peter’s mother-in-law, Matt 8:14-15, Lk 4:38.
      4. Healing all who came to Him demonstrating God’s will over the enemy, as well as fulfilling the Isaiah chapter 53 Messianic prophecy, Matthew 8:16-17, This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said, "He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases." (NLT)
   4. The KEY element for healing shown – FAITH!
      1. Matt 8:13– Again the centurion, then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour.
      2. Matt 8:23-26 – Jesus teaches from the storm, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" (In Mk 4:35, Jesus expresses God’s will, Let us cross over to the other side.)
      3. Matt 9:1-6, Jesus heals the paralytic of his double need, When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." … 6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"—then He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."
      4. Matt 9:18ff – Jesus goes to fill the request to heal the ruler’s daughter,  While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live."
      5. Matt 9:22 – As He went His healing power was released and received through faith, But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, "Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour. (Mark 5:24-34, And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.")
      6. Matt 9:23 – The ruler’s request completed & Jesus’ faith revealed, When Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, 24  He said to them, "Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping." And they ridiculed Him. 25 But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
      7. Matt 9:27ff – Jesus heals two blind men, When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!"  And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you."
2. Jesus proclaims and demonstrates the Messianic promise spoken by Isaiah (Chap. 61), see Luke 4:18-19 & Matthew 11:2-6.
3. Jesus fulfills the will of God and destroys the work of the devil:
   1. Peter preaches to the Gentiles what God did for them through Jesus. Acts 10:38, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
   2. The Apostle John again teachings us of the double curse of what God did through Jesus, The Christ, 1 John 3:8  He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
   3. That is what Jesus DID for us and we enter into this double victory through faith in the double cure, especially when we take the two elements of communion; 1) the bread –His body broken for us - for our sicknesses and 2) The cup of the New Testament in MY blood - for our sins!  (1Cor:11:23-26)

 
III. GOD HAS HEALED ME. It HAS been done!

1. This is the KEY in the full process; again  He took the double-curse, I Peter 2:24, Who Himself bore (1) our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—(2) by whose stripes you WERE healed!
2. Ephesians 1 & 2 also holds another KEY to your healing.
   1. See Eph 1:3ff as it tells us God HAS blessed us with ALL spiritual blessings IN CHRIST.
   2. See Eph 1:16-22 as it tells us:
      1. How to understand this and,
      2. What Christ did and has done for us.
   3. See Eph 2:7-8 tells us how this is done (by grace through what God has already provided us IN CHRIST) and how it comes (through faith)!
   4. See Mark 11:22-24 as it explains how all spiritual power is received and released.
      1. See 1 John 5:4 which confirms by faith we work from the position of victory!
      2. See 1 Jn 5:14:15 which also confirms we HAVE the petitions we ask of Him.
   5. In James 5:14-16 we are instructed how to pray for the sick using the Mk 11 prayer as our foundation: Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
   6. Then Jesus concludes His teaching and instructs us what to do, along with His promise: He will be with us (just as the Father was with Him) to confirm His word with signs following, Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents [Lk 10:18-20]; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

The Power of a Story

I became a Charismatic because of one person’s story of how God had moved in her life! When I was attending a conservative, evangelical college studying to become a pastor, I was completely anti-Charismatic and so was my school. I could argue theology with the best of them and I had many “proof texts” demonstrating that healing was not for today. And no one could change my mind!

Except I was not prepared for the power of a story. Patti was doing her student teaching at a school near our college, and her sponsor teacher often invited us to her home for meals. She was a strong Charismatic Christian, and during the meals she shared many stories of healings in her friends and family. Well, this shocked me because here was a very real person, and a very nice person, with a very powerful story which contradicted my theology.

Obviously her story was not a lie! She was living proof of the healing power of God. Her story so impacted me and so contradicted my theology that I decided I should go back and explore what the Bible taught about divine healing. As I did, God granted fresh revelation, my theology completely changed, and I became thoroughly Charismatic, committed to the Spirit-filled lifestyle… All because of the power of a story!!

Your story is powerful as well! You, too, can change lives by telling your story – especially your testimony of meeting with Almighty God and the life-transforming impact the experience had upon you. “Forget Your Heroic Efforts of Prayer and Simply Come to Me”

Father, what do You want to speak this morning?

Did I not say that you can come to Me and learn of Me? I will give you rest, I will lift your heavy burdens, I will replace your yoke with My yoke that is easy and light. I so long to impart rest to your soul. You are so easily distracted, Mike. I AM the Lover of your soul.

Let go of your worry, cast them at My feet and sit at My feet. You have not truly understood My rest that I have for you. Forget your heroic efforts of prayer and simply come to Me. Forget your efforts of bringing Me down and see I am with you. Simply know and see Me closer than a friend, than your breath itself.

Come to Me often. Remove yourself from your busyness and get alone. Lay aside your striving and just be with Me.Turn your eyes away and turn to Me.

Listen and see and hear My whisperings of love and My melodies of approval and acceptance! Turn the gaze of your soul to Me. You have missed Me often in your striving to find Me.

SIMPLY I AM.

Posturing Yourself to Receive Divine Healing

I was modeling a healing prayer technique for the seminar participants this last weekend, and had a volunteer come forward who had had pain in her knees for the last 3-4 months. She could hardly stand up or walk.
 
So in demonstrating the effective flow of divine healing current (as discussed on the CD “Divine Healing Toolbox”), I laid two hands on her and told her to see the power of God (as light) entering her and healing her. After the prayer she reported being about 10% better.
 
However, after she went back to her seat, she continued to look and see the power of God as light entering her and flowing down through her and into her knees, and at the next break she came and told me the pain was 90% gone! Because she stayed in a receptive mode, believing and seeing divine reality taking place, her healing continued and increased!
 
The next day (Sunday morning) she testified in church that the pain was still 90% gone, and she was going to continue in the healing mode until it was 100% gone.
 
Go, God, Go!

Baptized in the Holy Ghost at 30,000 Feet!

I want to share a testimony with you. I was on an airplane from Denver to Philadelphia two weeks ago and sat next to a man who is a Baptist pastor. He was in Colorado Springs for a Global Harvest International Prayer Initiative Conference. We started talking about praying in tongues and he said that recently he became more open to praying for the baptism of the Spirit, but he still wasn’t quite sure about it.

I had the opportunity to talk to him about the rational mind vs. having a spiritual right brain mind from what I learned from my last course: Experiencing God. I shared several Scriptures with him and asked him if I could pray for him to receive the Holy Spirit and a release of tongues. He agreed! So right there in the airplane he was baptized in the Holy Spirit!!!! Praise the Lord!!!

The neat thing was that he was supposed to have flown out the night before, but his plane was canceled. He went back to the hotel room wondering why. He said to me that he realized our meeting was a divine appointment! So I truly am putting to good use the wonderful things I am learning at Christian Leadership University!

Nobody Is Old in Heaven

Christian Leadership University courses teach students how to develop and use their heart eyes and ears which brings forth wonderful revelations of God, His love, and changes their lives. To use our heart senses opens up endless realms of the spiritual.

I am thankful for the heart eyes and ears God has given me through the exercise of them. He has shown me many things, including a number of glimpses of heaven. Recently, Chuck, an elderly man in his 90’s, died. He had been my former high school principal; and when I moved to my present home, he and his wife became my neighbors. I often helped take care of him as his health continued to fail. Since he loved music, I would sometimes play musical instruments and sing for him. 

On February 20th, he had a stroke and was taken to the hospital. From there, he was transferred to Hospice. During his time there, even though he was in a coma, his family and I would sing to him. Sometimes, I sat by his bedside quietly playing hymns on my guitar and harmonica.

By Wednesday, March 2, we knew that his journey to heaven was not far off, so we stayed gathered around his bed and spent the time reading scripture, praying, and singing.  We were singing some of his favorite hymns when he gently left this earth and entered heaven. There, he was greeted with heavenly singing.  I couldn’t help but think of how glorious this was compared to our earthly musical efforts.

God gave me a personal glimpse of his passing. There were four beautiful angels (two on each side) who escorted him to heaven. In heaven, he was met by a large crowd of loved ones. Chuck was having the time of his new life as he and these people enthusiastically greeted one another. The atmosphere was filled with love and brilliance that is beyond earthly comprehension.

As I continued to watch the scene, one of the things that really impressed me was that he entered heaven as an old man; but within seconds, he changed into a young, handsome looking man, full of life and energy. He had been set free from his old body which had imprisoned him during his last years on earth.

To the left of the crowd, Jesus suddenly appeared to welcome Chuck. Chuck’s full attention was now on Jesus. He ran to Him and fell prostrate at His feet. Jesus laughed and pulled Chuck into a loving embrace. Both were glowing with pleasure; and by this time, Chuck was laughing, too. The scene ended for me when Jesus and Chuck began dancing and then skipped off together to another part of heaven. I thank God for this beautiful insight into Chuck’s homecoming and look forward to the day when I can exchange this old body for a new, young heavenly one!

When I Look into the Eyes of Jesus…

For as long as I can remember, two things have constantly plagued me: fear and rejection. As a very young child I remember feeling that no one loved or wanted me. I was the youngest of five children. My mother had had three children all under 22 months of age and had waited five and a half years before she had me. My earliest memories with my siblings was that of not being wanted. They didn't want me around when they were playing, and they didn't want to take me places with them. 

Loneliness forced me to make my dad's bird dog and a family cat my playmates. Later in life, my mother told me she didn't think she was pregnant with me, but thought she had a tumor. The doctor suspected it as well; hence, a spirit of fear and rejection was rooted in me while still in the womb. 

As I grew up, I noticed that my mother seemed to be fearful a lot. Living under that constant fear caused my own fear to bury deeper within me. I can remember having the feeling of a dark cloud over me at times and wondering what horrible thing was about to happen next. Through my adult years as a believer, I learned to resist fear and counter those negative thoughts with the Word of God by making positive confessions from His Word over my life. That brought a measure of success; the instances where the dark cloud would come over me became less, and I learned that when I focus on who I am in Christ Jesus and His desire to give me success, I could gain some ground over the fear and rejection. But through the Prayers That Heal the Heart course, I have received, not just a measure of healing or success, but deliverance and freedom from the spirit of fear and rejection! Praise the Lord!

I knew this was going to be a freeing course when the enemy attacked from the very beginning with an overwhelming sense that this was not going to work; I would not be any different when I got through the course than I was when I started; and that the course would take so much time that I wouldn't be able to finish within my time frame that I needed to meet for my funding requirements. When I would start going through the seven prayers, I would feel fear rising up in my throat like it was going to strangle me or cause me to vomit.

But I set my face like flint and pressed through those feelings of sickness in order to finally experience the freedom I so desired. I placed the cross of Jesus between me and my ancestors and severed the ungodly soul-ties that had brought the spirit of fear and rejection into my life. I invited Jesus into the traumatic experiences and allowed Him to show me where He was and what He was doing in those fearful and hurtful moments. I asked the Lord to reveal to me the negative beliefs and inner vows I had embraced that gave fear and rejection further ground within me. By the time I had torn down the demons' house, they came out very easily. I no longer feel the darkness over me or like I'm just waiting for the next crisis to come. The light is bright, and the sky is clear and blue. I feel light and free! I'm a new person!

One of the most memorable prayers for me in this course was the inner healing prayer where I invited Jesus to go into a traumatic scene with me and to show me what He is doing. That has helped me so much in dealing with the pain of rejection from a small child even through my adult years. The scene was when my husband, Larry, had a stroke standing right in front of me and then died the next day. The devil had told me that I was a modern day Job, and that he had killed my husband. His plan was to destroy my children as well. I felt an overwhelming sense of fear, but here's what I saw when Jesus walked with me through that scene:

Jesus walks up to me, puts His arms around me and embraces me. I realize how big He is and how small I am in comparison to Him. He speaks reassuringly to me that He loves me and will take care of me and my children. He says, “I am with you; no harm will come to you and your children because I am with you.” He pulls me close to Him and wipes the tears from my eyes. He cradles my head in His hand and looks lovingly into my eyes while speaking comforting words of peace to me. His eyes are so deep and penetrate into the very depths of my heart. I am transformed by looking into His eyes. It's as if all care disappears when I look into His eyes.

He looks into my eyes for a long time, and as He looks at me I see the love and concern that He has for my well-being. I feel the assurance that He will take care of both my children and me. We are safe with Him. There is a hedge of protection around all of us, and the enemy cannot penetrate it. I see us in a bubble of His protection. Nothing can pierce the bubble. It is strong, and when the enemy's darts hit it, they just bounce off. He has us in His bubble!

The Lord ministered to me in such a sweet way through this scene. He has assured me that He has always been there beside me and will never leave me to deal with these issues by myself. I don't have to be afraid any longer. God has set me free from the spirit of fear.

Another traumatic picture that Jesus walked with me through was this one:

I am in the eighth grade, and my brother and sister, who are 16, have been asked by my grandparents to accompany them on a trip to Texas to visit my aunt and uncle. They said they didn’t want me to go along, which hurts me deeply. I told my Dad and he said that if I can't go, they can't go. When he tells them this, they are angry with me and agree to let me go, but I experience their anger the whole trip.

This picture further reinforced the spirit of rejection that I had experienced from before my birth. My siblings never wanted me around. So I invited Jesus to walk with me through this scene. Here's what I saw:

I see the Lord Jesus standing beside me laughing at them. He is bending over laughing and hitting His hands on his knees because they didn't get to leave me behind like they intended. He says, “They didn't win this time, did they?” Now go along and enjoy the trip. Don't pay any attention to them, they will get over it. I have made it possible for you to be included.”

As I progressed through this course, it was more deeply instilled within me that what I say and believe about my situation is very important and actually opens the door further for the signals to go out to people that I am a person to be rejected, and every time I allow fear to rule in my life I cause a circle of repetitious negative situations to be perpetuated in my life. What a man thinks in his heart, he surely does become. My fear of being rejected eventually brings what I fear upon me. I have to replace those negative beliefs and inner vows with the truth of God's word and reinforce truth where lies once lived.

The actual prayer for casting out the demons went very easily. It took time to prepare the contributing strands worksheets and to process all of the information needed to reach the prayer to cast out the demons. But when I got there, the spirit of fear came out with a burp! And the spirit of rejection was simply exhaled. Both were gone without any problem. The houses had been torn down and there was nothing left for them to anchor themselves to.

 As a memorial stone for the fear, I have chosen the symbol of the dove, representing the power of the Holy Spirit to fly free in my heart in place of the spirit of fear. I will forever remember the freedom I have received from fear every time I see a dove.

The memorial stone that I have chosen for my freedom from the spirit of rejection is the picture of Christ embracing a man and carrying him. This is a well-known picture that I've seen many times in Christian bookstores and it reminds me of how much Jesus loves me and wants to carry me through difficult times. It reveals to me His closeness and how He accepts me and carries me through difficulties.

As I journaled about my deliverance from the spirit of rejection this is what the Lord spoke to me: “My Child, I love you and receive you. I know you. I call you by name, you are Mine. I have accepted you and will establish you as My very own Child. Don't look to others for significance. They are mere humans. I am the One who calls the shots; no one else can establish you but Me. And I say that you are a “good and perfect gift”; you have been sent down from above, from Me and you are worthwhile and significant. You are not defective; you are perfect, created by Me and loved by Me from before the foundation of the world. Rest in that, Child and not in what people may think or say about you. Only rely on what I think and say about you, for I am Truth!

I am so thankful that I was drawn by the Holy Spirit to Christian Leadership University to be able to take these courses and find the freedom in Christ Jesus that I have for so long tried through so many different avenues to achieve. Only God can set a person free! I now have the tools that I need to continue my own healing as well as to lead others in their struggles to find freedom. I thank the Lord, first and foremost, and then the Virklers for setting the foundation and building the tools necessary for myself and others to experience freedom from demonic oppression in our lives. I can now build a house for God in my life instead of living with the houses that demons erected to secure their hideous sins and curses that were keeping me in bondage. Thank You, Jesus, for setting me free!

Adopt-a-Language Translation Update

Last year Mark Virkler recorded forty-seven bilingual sessions of several of our key teachings including Communion With God, Counseled By God, Prayers That Heal the Heart, Christian Dream Interpretation and Naturally Supernatural. How Can I Get Closer to God?

You may be wanting to improve your relationship with God. Or, you may want to be sure that you will go to heaven when you die. You may have enjoyed the journaling which you see on this website and long to be able to have the same kind of experience in your own life. The wonderful thing is, you can! Here’s how...

The Bible teaches that God hungers to share His love with you. In the Garden of Eden, God walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day. That is what God wants to do with each of us, also. He yearns to be able to share His love with us and have us share our hearts with Him on a daily basis. As our Creator and Sustainer, He knows what we need even more than we do, and He answers our questions even before we ask.

God’s heart was broken when sin entered into Adam and Eve’s  lives and stole away that relationship He had with them. The tempter tempted Adam and Eve to live like gods themselves, rather than enjoy the flow of God’s life through them. In choosing to look to self, rather than looking beyond to the wonderful Giver of Life, Adam and Eve cut off much of the flow of God within them.

So God sent His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, in the form of a man, to remove the sin which separated mankind’s heart from the heart of God. By entering the world as a man, God was able to take the sins of the entire world upon His own shoulders and pay the penalty of this separation by allowing His Son, Jesus Christ, to be separated from Him for a moment of time. That is why Jesus cried out while dying on the cross, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” However, in forsaking His Son for a moment of time, God was restoring the opportunity for you and me to return to the experience of the Garden of Eden and, once again, have fellowship with Almighty God. Once again, we could walk with Him in the cool of the day and share our lives with Him and have God share His life with us. 

So our relationship with God can be enhanced. We can be sure of going to heaven by receiving the sacrifice of Jesus’ life for our sins. The steps are quite clearly laid out in the Bible.

The Steps to Salvation Are as Follows:

1. Acknowledge there is sin in your life: For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

2. Repent of sin by turning to God:“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out...” (Acts 3:19).

3. Confess that Jesus is Lord:“If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

4. Forsake your sin:“Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord...for He will freely pardon” (Isaiah 55:7).

5. Believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior:“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

6. Receive - Invite Jesus into your heart:“He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:11,12).

7. Experience the Holy Spirit in your heart:“If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you” (Romans 8:11).

A Prayer of Response

If you want a closer relationship with God, if you want to know for certain that when you die you will go to heaven, then offer the following prayer to God, from the depths of your heart. Pray aloud, slowly, meaningfully, staying open to experiencing the flow of your heart, including flowing pictures, words and emotions.

“Precious Holy Spirit, do a work in my heart as I offer the following prayer to God.

“God, I come to You in the name of Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that I have sinned and fallen short of Your ways. I repent of my sin and ask that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanse me of all my sins. I receive this cleansing even now as You sweep over my soul. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Lord of my life. I invite You, Jesus, to have first place in my heart and my life.

"I believe God raised Jesus from the dead, and that He is alive in my heart today. I forsake any evil ways and thoughts which I have harbored, and this day turn my life over to Jesus. I ask, Jesus, that You fill my heart and my mind with Your ways and Your thoughts and that You begin a transforming work from within my heart and my spirit.

"By believing in Jesus and His life within me, I am assured a place in heaven with God. I receive eternal life this day. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ. I yield myself right now to the movings of the Holy Spirit within my spirit. Holy Spirit, please make this very real in my heart and let me sense Your movings within me. May You seal this prayer this day.”

Now just wait quietly for a few minutes in the presence of God and His Holy Spirit and see what you sense within. Lift up your eyes to Jesus and humbly receive His life within your soul. 

Record in your journal today's date along with any impressions or sensations which you received in your heart and soul as you prayed this prayer.

Also recommended is the book Basics in 21 Days which begins teaching you how to live naturally supernatural in the very first weeks of your Christian journey.

These materials can be used in independent study, in a small group, or as part of an external degree program of Christian Leadership University.
